Multidimensional Exploration of Psychological and Structural Factors on Financial Management Behavior in Purbalingga Regency

Abstract
Aims: This study was conducted to examine the relationship between financial knowledge, financial attitude, personality, and financial inclusion on the financial management behavior of MSMEs.
Study Design: In this study, Financial Management Behavior is the dependent variable. Meanwhile, Financial Knowledge, Financial Attitude, Personality, and Financial Inclusion is the independent variable.
Place and Duration of Study: This research was conducted in Purbalingga Regency. Data were collected through in person and online questionnaires from March 4 to May 8, 2025.
Methodology: The sampling method non-probability sampling with an accidental sampling technique. The sample size was determined using the formula Hair et al 2019. The data source for this study was primary data collected through questionnaires distributed to MSMEs in Purbalingga Regency. The questionnaire included indicator for each variable, which were then processed into statement. Likert scale of 1 to 5 was used to measure responses. Smart PLS version 3.0 was used to process the data, using the Outer Model and Inner Model.
Results: The result of the study show that all variable have a positive and significant effect on financial management behavior because all variables have a p-values < 0.05 and t-statistics > 1.96.
Conclusion: From the data analysis conducted, the results show that Financial Knowledge, Financial Attitude, Personality, and Financial Inclusion have a positive and significant influence on Financial Management Behavior. The practical implication of this research for MSMEs include its potential to serve as a reference for more structured financial management and control of cash flow and revenue. Furthermore, it can serve as a reference for business development.
